JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a Lead Data Designer/Data Mapper to support a large-scale Wealth Data Platform initiative. This role will own logical data models, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and integration specifications that enable consistent, high-quality data delivery across the enterprise. The successful candidate will partner closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data designs. Responsibilities - Define logical, canonical, and dimensional data models. - Create and maintain source-to-target mappings and transformation specifications. - Design schemas and integration requirements for data warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms. - Define data quality, validation, reconciliation, and lineage requirements. - Develop data contracts and interface specifications. - Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented consistently. - Support discovery, solution design, and project delivery activities. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - 8+ years of experience in Data Modelling, Data Design, or Data Integration within Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services domains. - Strong experience with source-to-target mapping and data transformation design. - Experience designing data models for enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, or data lakes. - Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modelling techniques. - Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred). - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. This role is for a new vacant opening within a new project. Pay rate: $88-91/hr

Requirements

Requires 8 or more years of data modeling, data design, or data integration experience in wealth management, asset management, or financial services. Candidates should have strong source-to-target mapping and transformation design experience, knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling, experience with enterprise data platforms, warehouses, or lakes, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
