Job Description: We are looking for a Technical Forward Deployed Engineer who will be responsible for the hands-on development, engineering, and delivery of AI solutions and Proofs of Concept (POCs) based on client requirements. This is the more technically focused of the two Forward Deployed Engineer profiles. The ideal candidate is a strong AI/software engineer who can take a business problem or solution concept and actually build the working solution. They should be comfortable working in Python, leveraging modern AI development tools, and building within Azure, AWS, and/or GCP environments. Roles/Responsibilities: Design and build AI solutions and Proofs of Concept based on client requirements and use cases Translate solution requirements into functional, working AI applications Partner with Functional Forward Deployed Engineers to understand client requirements and determine technical approaches Develop, test, iterate, and refine AI POCs Build hands-on solutions using Python and modern AI development frameworks and tooling Use modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate solution development Troubleshoot technical issues throughout solution development and POC delivery Must Have Requirements: Strong hands-on Python development experience Hands-on experience building AI/GenAI applications or solutions Proven ability to take an AI use case from concept through working solution or POC Strong software engineering/development background Hands-on experience with major hyperscalers: Azure AWS GCP Experience with modern AI and development tools: Cursor GitHub GitHub Copilot Claude Code Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities Ability to work closely with client-facing resources and translate requirements into technical solutions Nice to Have: Experience building AI Proofs of Concept for enterprise clients Experience rapidly prototyping AI solutions *We do use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. *Pay range for this role is between $60/hr - 68/hr CAD. *This role is an existing vacancy. *No requirement for Canadian experience or education.
