JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking an MRP Controller to support the end-to-end management of custom tooling used in the manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance of aircraft engines. This role acts as the critical link between internal customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams, ensuring tooling requirements are clearly defined, communicated, produced, and delivered on schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Manage custom tooling orders from initial request through manufacturing, delivery, repair, and return. - Interpret customer requirements, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine technical and logistical needs. - Review 2D and 3D technical drawings and understand how tooling components are manufactured. - Develop clear work instructions and technical requirements for external suppliers. - Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding tooling questions, deviations, tolerances, clearances, and manufacturing issues. - Coordinate tooling shipments, repairs, returns, and overall logistics activities. - Monitor project status and document key milestones within internal management systems. - Collaborate closely with manufacturing and shop floor teams to resolve technical and operational challenges. - Inspect and assess tooling deviations when tools are returned from suppliers. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in tooling, manufacturing, machine shops, CNC operations, tooling methods, or a related technical environment. - Diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will also be considered. - Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand complex technical drawings, including: Raw materials. tool design, manufacturing specifications, 2D and 3D drawings - Ability to understand manufacturing processes and confidently discuss technical issues with suppliers. - Fully bilingual in French and English NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Experience working with durable tooling, jigs, fixtures, gauges, or custom manufacturing tools. - Exposure to CATIA, SolidWorks, or other 3D CAD platforms. - Experience supporting machine shops or CNC manufacturing environments. - Experience estimating manufacturing costs and lead times. Compensation: $28/hr to $40/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
