JOB DESCRIPTION Location: Guelph, ON - 2x Per Week On-Site Employment: 12-Month Contract + Extension/Conversion Rate: $34-$38 per Hour Insight Global is looking for an experienced Operational Risk Consultant to support a risk management function on a contract basis. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on expertise in conducting risk assessments, testing controls, and applying core operational risk concepts in a practical, business‑focused way. This role is suited for someone who can quickly integrate into an existing framework, identify gaps, and strengthen risk practices with minimal oversight. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - 3-5 years of experience within risk management (this can be from either compliance, risk or audit) - Has experience meeting with stakeholders to share controls objectives and request related controls - Has the ability to identify, confirm and document the gaps within current risk processes - Has the ability to assess the risk and controls within entities and business unit functions - Strong knowledge of risk management industry standards and methodologies NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Has a background in audit or accounting We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
