Hourly Rate: $25/hr 2x days a week on site 6 Month Contract with extensions Job Description We’re looking for two detail‑oriented Payment Operations Administrators to support time‑sensitive wires, funds transfers, check preparation, and daily reconciliations. These roles are deliberately task‑focused and junior in scope, created to provide backfill coverage and additional capacity for teams operating at max bandwidth. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on time‑sensitive wires and transfer transactions, with the remainder split between check preparation (10–15%), other processing tasks such as wallet loading for merchants (10–15%), and daily reconciliation of client accounts (25%). This is an execution‑focused role within a fast‑paced financial services environment. The successful candidates will help maintain the integrity of payment operations by ensuring transactions are accurate, entered correctly into banking systems, and submitted for approval before daily cut‑off times. Over time, they will also take on daily reconciliation of 2–5 accounts, working with banking reports, network reports, and client reports. Required Skills & Experience Attention to detail – finance, accounting, or transaction processing background strongly preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in payment operations, banking operations, financial services, accounting, insurance, or a related operational role. Experience with high‑volume transaction processing (50–100 transactions/day) and time‑sensitive deadlines that cannot be missed. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast‑paced, corporate environment with multiple banking applications and systems. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Nice to Have Skills & Experience Post‑secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Administration, or a related discipline. CPA or similar certification is a plus but not required. Experience with EFT, wire payments, accounting reconciliations, and financial transaction processing. Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing/workflow tools (not critical). Experience supporting audits, risk management, or process improvement initiatives. Background in a financial services, payments, or regulated environment. Ability to hit the ground running with minimal ramp‑up time. *We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
