Job Type: 6-12 month contract, chance of extension or conversion to full-time. Pay Rate: $50 - $60/hour Work Model: Onsite Job Description Our client is seeking a Software Engineer. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong Python expertise, experience working with Databricks and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and practical experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) within enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment and can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Required Skills & Experience -5+ years of Software Engineering experience -Very strong hands-on Python development experience -Experience working with Databricks in a production environment -Experience building or supporting LLM-based solutions -Claude code- CoPilot - if not CoPilot, Azure and Microsoft Shops -Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) -Experience utilizing LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks -Strong understanding of APIs, backend application development, and system integrations -MCP (Model Context Protocol) -Experience working within Agile development environments and sprint-based delivery models -Ability to manage multiple features, initiatives, or large epics concurrently We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. *Pay range for this role is between CAD.
