A leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, Insight Medical Imaging connects in a meaningful way with our patients, physicians, and employees. With over 650 employees and 20 clinic locations, Insight provides services in Edmonton and surrounding regions, as well as in Fort McMurray. Insight is currently seeking Central Booking Agents to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a remote position with a regular shift from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Employees will be required to work at least two Saturdays per month, with a day off provided midweek when a Saturday shift is scheduled. Shifts may also include Sundays and statutory holidays as required. Applicants must reside in Alberta. Insight offers: * Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Flex Days * RRSP Matching * Educational Allowance * Employer Paid Benefits * Healthcare Spending Account Duties and Responsibilities: * Answer a high volume of incoming calls to schedule medical imaging appointments while providing compassionate, patient-centered service * Collaborate with clinic teams to support efficient workflow and timely patient care * Assist with scheduling processes and provide feedback to support continuous improvement * Review incoming faxes and coordinate appointments with Physicians and Patients * Contact patients to confirm, rebook, or fill appointments as needed * Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Note: the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the incumbent of this job; they are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and activities required of this position. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and either a Medical Assistant Diploma or a Medical Terminology Certificate with at least one year of relevant experience. Previous experience in a high-volume contact center is also required.
