We are looking for experienced Project Managers for 6-month contract positions, with possible extensions, in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Position is available as hybrid. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Role Description Our client is growing its IT project management capacity, with an immediate need to support SAP-related initiatives, alongside other technology and enterprise programs. The Project Manager will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to keep delivery on track, while adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including SAP-related initiatives, from initiation through closeout Manage vendor relationships and hold external partners accountable to scope, schedule, and quality commitments Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reporting Identify risks and issues, and drive timely resolution Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technical resources, and third-party vendors Adapt project plans and priorities in response to evolving business needs Facilitate clear, consistent communication across project teams and leadership Apply project management best practices pragmatically, tailoring process to the needs of the project rather than following a rigid methodology Required Skills and Experience Proven experience managing IT projects; experience with SAP implementations or migrations is a strong asset Strong vendor management skills, with experience holding external partners accountable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and ambiguity Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-first approach — not a "my way or the highway" style Process-driven mindset balanced with practical flexibility; comfortable adapting methodology to the situation rather than following a rigid playbook Desired Skills and Experience PMP or PMBOK-aligned training is an asset (practical, adaptable delivery experience is valued over strict textbook methodology) Experience in construction, engineering, or related industries is an asset Please note that while all applications are appreciated, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
