Responsibilities * Analyze and improve operational flows, automation strategies, and manual sorting processes across sites * Contribute to the development of operating standards and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and ergonomic standards * Support the design, testing, and implementation of new stations, including layout planning and equipment selection * Create and update technical drawings on AutoCAD, validating designs with engineering * Conduct data analysis on throughput, costs, and quality metrics to define sorting thresholds and support decision-making * Participate in field visits to gather insights, assess equipment performance, and support project execution * Assist in preparing visual aids, documentation, and recommendations for automation and material handling projects * The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders. Qualifications * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. * Strong interest in operational excellence and performance improvement with an eagerness to learn. * Proficient in Excel, with a focus on data analysis * Understanding RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes is an asset. * Familiarity with automated warehouse or HUB environments is an asset. * Familiarity with process mapping, time studies, capacity analysis, workflow analysis, and Lean methodologies is an asset * Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with the ability to create, modify, and interpret technical drawings and facility layouts. * Proactive and solution driven mindset. * Willingness to travel to various locations for project support and site visits, with flexibility to accommodate operational hours, including early mornings or late evenings. #LI-DNI #IG-DNI Intelcom is a leading last-mile carrier in the e-commerce sector.
