Medical Laboratory Assistants perform a variety of duties such as taking blood and specimen samples from patients, preparing blood and other specimens for analysis, performing routine laboratory tests, distributing specimens to departments and outside Laboratories, operating related equipment, entering data into the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and performing related clerical duties and ECG testing as required. This is a Permanent Part Time (0.41) opportunity. Shifts of work will be scheduled day shift. The Medical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for collecting blood and specimen samples from patients and preparing them for analysis. They also perform routine laboratory tests, operate related equipment, and manage data entry into the Laboratory Information Systems.

The candidate should be an experienced, reliable, and motivated individual with a passion for Medical Laboratory Science. They must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle both clinical and clerical duties.
