Job summary

Software Developer - Oracle Our Government client is seeking an experienced Oracle Software Developer with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite, PL/SQL, SQL, Java, REST APIs, and data integration. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and support enterprise applications and data solutions. Key Responsibilities Translate technical requirements and specifications into tested, production-ready applications. Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software and database solutions. Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, XML, and Unix shell scripts. Support Oracle E-Business Suite customizations, extensions, conversions, and migrations. Conduct impact assessments and troubleshoot application and integration issues. Develop and support RESTful APIs and web services. Design and support data warehouse and ETL solutions. Perform SQL tuning and optimize database performance, including partitioned tables. Collaborate with technical and business teams throughout the SDLC. Support deployments, post-implementation activities, and technical documentation. Required Skills 10+ years of software development experience, including large-scale enterprise applications. 10+ years of hands-on Java and Oracle/SQL development experience. 5+ years of experience with REST APIs and RESTful Web Services. Strong Oracle E-Business Suite experience, including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Accounts Payable (AP) Inventory (INV) Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite table structures, including GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV, and FND. Strong programming experience with PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Experience with SQL tuning and partitioned tables. Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and OBIEE. Knowledge of microservices and modern application architecture. Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile development. Knowledge of application security, including JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSL certificates. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, refactoring, and clean-code practices. Nice to Have Experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF). Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Accounts Receivable/Collections conversions. Experience with middleware and application gateways. Knowledge of Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies. Experience with Internet-based applications.
