We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Continuous Improvement Facilitator, based at our Head Office in Saint John, New Brunswick. Reporting to the Corporate Director, Business Performance and Continuous Improvement, the Continuous Improvement Facilitator is responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous enhancement of J.D. Irving, Limited's Continuous Improvement and organizational capability programs. In this role, you will facilitate learning experiences that build Continuous Improvement capabilities across the organization through training, coaching, mentoring, curriculum development, learner assessment, and certification support. You will collaborate with business leaders, divisional Continuous Improvement teams, Human Resources, and subject matter experts to ensure programs remain practical, relevant, and aligned with business objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES * Deliver Continuous Improvement and leadership development programs across J.D. Irving businesses. * Facilitate certification programs including: * White Belt * Yellow Belt * Lean Belt * Green Belt * Innovation & Design Thinking * Change Management * Other Continuous Improvement and Leadership Development programs as assigned * Coach, mentor, and support certification candidates throughout their learning journey. * Evaluate learner progress and certification readiness. * Design, develop, and continuously improve program curriculum and training materials. * Measure and monitor program effectiveness through learner engagement, certification success, and business impact. * Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify capability development opportunities. * Support the ongoing growth of Continuous Improvement knowledge and practices throughout J.D. Irving, Limited. * Travel for the role may be required. QUALIFICATIONS * Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. * Minimum three years of experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement initiatives. * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, or Green Belt certification combined with significant Continuous Improvement project leadership experience. * Demonstrated success delivering measurable business results through process improvement. * Experience facilitating training, workshops, and presentations for diverse audiences. * Experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting individuals through development or certification programs. * Understanding of adult learning principles and experience developing learning solutions or training materials. * Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. * Experience using Articulate 360 (Storyline and/or Rise) is considered a strong asset.
