Responsibilities Although responsibilities will vary my role, some common responsibilities include: Demonstrate leadership in production, motivating a team of employees and/or contractors. Ensure operational efficiency, budgeting, and planning, meeting organizational goals. Maintain high safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Manage and influence others with 5+ years of management experience. Present to senior leaders, negotiate, and problem-solve effectively. Drive performance and objectives with a results-oriented mindset. Lead change and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in forestry. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Forestry, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field. 5+ years of management experience with a proven track record of influencing others. Strong safety leadership skills and a solid understanding of business principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration. Ability to work independently and drive results. Agile mindset to navigate and lead change. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for forestry operations. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
