Job summary

The Data Architect will design and implement Azure Databricks Lakehouse architectures and lead large-scale data migrations from BigQuery. They will also establish data governance standards using Unity Catalog and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities Design Azure Databricks Lakehouse & Medallion Architecture using Delta Lake. Lead BigQuery-to-Databricks migration strategy, mapping, and execution. Establish data governance, security, and standards using Unity Catalog. Architect scalable data models, ingestion, and analytics platforms. Collaborate with business, engineering, and program teams. Mandatory Skills Azure Databricks, Delta Lake & Lakehouse Architecture PySpark & SQL Data Modeling, Migration & Modernization Azure Data Factory & ADLS Gen2 Azure DevOps & CI/CD Large-scale cloud data migration experience Preferred BigQuery migration experience Financial Services experience Azure Solutions Architect / Databricks certifications TOGAF Experience: 15+ years in Data & Analytics; 5+ years in Data Architecture.
