Job summary

The Packaging Operator is responsible for performing manual and/or basic machine-assisted packaging of finished goods in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures products are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently while meeting quality standards and production targets. Key Responsibilities: Package finished products according to company specifications and production schedules Inspect products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packaging Label, seal, and prepare items for shipment or storage Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and hygiene standards Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions Report any product quality issues or equipment concerns to the supervisor Assist with basic setup or changeover of packaging materials as required Ensure accurate counts and proper documentation of packaged goods Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is an asset Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Good communication and teamwork skills Working Conditions: Fast-paced manufacturing environment May require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods Key Skills: Attention to detail Time management Reliability and consistency Ability to work in a team environment
