Reference Number: 31938 Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson - Offroad to work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Edmonton Shop. The schedule for this position is 5 days on and 2 days off. There will be occasional travel required to different project sites within Edmonton and surrounding areas, specifically our DOW project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Responsibilities Hands on maintenance and repairs of all civil construction equipment including dozers, articulated trucks, excavators, etc. Running repairs and maintenance work Replacing components. Troubleshoot and diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults. Preventive maintenance and services. Complete work according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Work closely with customers maintenance and operations personnel. Interpret work orders and technical manuals. Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained. Diagnose faults or malfunctions. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations. Complete service reports. Ability to understand hydraulic and electronic schematics. Minimum Requirements Provincial Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification in Heavy Equipment Technician trade WHMIS CSTS Valid Class 5 Driver's License Fall Protection is an asset Reliable transportation COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY!
