Reference Number: 31758 Jardeg is recruiting Instrument Technician journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The shift rotation is 6 days on, 1 day off during the turnaround with overtime. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company. Travel allowance available for qualified applicants. Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as Sep 7th 2026 and lasting as late as Oct 7th 2026. Responsibilities Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings. Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
