JDass (Hospitality) Job Type: Full-time Location: In-Office Reports To: Regional Director of Sales Position Overview JDass Hospitality is seeking a motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to support sales efforts across our hospitality portfolio. This role will assist with incoming inquiries, proposals, contracts, group and corporate bookings, client follow-up, prospecting, and sales reporting. The ideal candidate is professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with clients by phone and email in a fast-paced hotel sales environment. Key Responsibilities Respond to and qualify incoming hotel sales inquiries. Prepare proposals, rate quotes, contracts, and sales documentation. Follow up on outstanding leads and proposals to help convert business. Coordinate corporate, group, crew, sports, wedding, meeting, and event bookings. Assist with group room blocks, booking links, rooming lists, payment details, and special requests. Conduct proactive prospecting by phone, email, and online research to identify new business opportunities. Complete approximately 10–15 prospecting calls or emails per day. Maintain accurate client, account, lead, and follow-up information in the CRM and sales pipeline. Track room nights, revenue, lead status, and sales activity. Prepare group turnover information and communicate confirmed booking details to hotel operations. Assist with corporate account setup, site inspections, client appointments, trade shows, and sales events. Support weekly and monthly sales reporting and other sales initiatives as required. Qualifications Previous hotel sales, hospitality, reservations, front office, or sales coordination experience preferred. Hotel industry experience is a strong asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization, follow-up, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple leads, deadlines, and priorities. Professional and confident telephone and email communication. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and general office technology. Experience with hotel PMS, CRM, or sales systems is an asset. Proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Skills & Competencies Strong sales and customer-service mindset. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organization, time management, and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong follow-up and sense of urgency. Confident handling both inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting. Ability to prioritize high-value and time-sensitive opportunities. Professional, proactive, and solution-focused approach. Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, hotel teams, and clients. Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Work Conditions Full-time, in-office position based at the JDass Hospitality corporate office. Regular communication with hotels across the hospitality portfolio. Occasional attendance at hotel site visits, client meetings, networking events, or trade shows may be required. What Success Looks Like The successful Hotel Sales Coordinator will help the sales department respond to opportunities faster, maintain consistent client follow-up, generate new leads, keep sales records organized, and support the conversion of inquiries into confirmed revenue. This role is an important part of supporting the Regional Director of Sales and allowing the sales team to spend more time developing relationships, attending industry events, prospecting key accounts, and growing revenue across the JDass Hospitality portfolio.
