How you’ll make an impact The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment used to manufacture wound core and amorphous products. This role includes machine setup, material handling, quality inspections, basic troubleshooting, and production documentation while meeting safety, quality, and production standards. Operators may rotate between workstations based on production requirements. Please note that this is a contract position to start and requires availability to work continental rotating shifts, including 11-12 hour day and night shifts. Hourly rate: $23.64 plus shift premium Key Responsibilities * Operate, set up, adjust, and monitor production equipment to meet quality and production targets. * Perform machine changeovers and basic troubleshooting; report complex equipment issues. * Load raw materials, process products, and transfer finished goods through the manufacturing process. * Conduct in-process and final quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. * Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately. * Maintain material traceability and follow work orders and production schedules. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, scrap, and rework. * Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements. * Work collaboratively with team members and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent (GED/CAEC) required * Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. * Ability to read work orders, specifications, and technical drawings. * Experience using precision measuring equipment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Basic computer and math skills. * Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Forklift, overhead crane, or other material handling certifications are considered an asset.
