Position: Office Administrator Job type: Permanent full-time Location: Hawkesbury Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 (according to experience) Posting No: 2026-08-11-01OA Posting Type: Vacancy The Office Administrator at J.G. Barrette Electric will provide the necessary support to the planning, organization, direction, coordination, and control of each project undertaken by the Company and to successfully complete each of these projects, safely, on time and below budget to meet the continuing growth and profit objectives of the Company. Some of the Office Administrator responsibilities include: Data entry for inventory and material receiving. Data entry for accounts payables and receivable, as and when requested. Ensure that all actions of the company are accomplished in an ethical and prudent manner and in accordance with OSHA regulations. Maintain up to date the health and safety files for each employee, including training certificates. Answer all incoming calls for the Company and greet Customers in a professional and courteous manner. Record request for quotations and request for service using standard Company procedures. Setup and maintain project files on the Company’s server. Obtain all required permits for each project (ESA, Hydro Quebec, Hydro One). Prepare and submit MOL Form 1000 – Registration of Contractors Submit progress billings to Clients and/or Consultants for approval, including statutory declarations and WSIB certificates. In Quebec, partial discharges (quittance partielle) and CCQ and CNESST discharges (attestation CCQ & CNESST). The preferred candidate will have: Five (5) years’ experience in construction or electrical project. Minimum of a High School Diploma. College Degree in an electrical or construction field preferred. Must be able to read, write and communicate in both the English and French languages. Advance computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
