What this job involves: JLL is hiring a Facilities Labourer for the team at a key client in Edmonton (Refinery Row) . This role reports to the Operations Lead. Hours of work are Mon-Fri Day shifts, as well as on-call responsibilities, responding to emergency calls and sick calls and vacation coverage. This position is 40 hours per week with opportunity for more hours and is eligible for JLL's benefits package on first day of employment. What your day-to-day will look like: Respond to client service requests as quickly and efficiently as possible. Utilize JLL’s CMMS software to open and action work orders Provide handyman services in the areas of general repairs such as flooring, touch-up painting, locks and hardware, ceiling tiles, etc. Provide maintenance and repairs to building equipment and assist with landscaping and other outdoors duties Replenish refreshment centres and relocate materials Provide assistance as directed to other building trade personnel. Conduct general site labour duties throughout the site. Below are some examples such as: Snow shoveling and salting of building entrances/walkways, Site clean up - emptying of garbage receptacles and debris removal, Delivering packages, relocating supplies/equipment Maintain work areas clean, efficient, and organized at all times. Perform other related duties as required and assigned from time-to-time. Required Qualifications: 1-2 years’ experience in general building repairs/operations and mechanically inclined. Excellent interpersonal skills with high level of professional and commitment to service excellence. Proficient in Microsoft Software, including Outlook, Excell and Word Ability to perform regular inspections of buildings and property Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform the requirements of the job with minimal supervision and to complete the assigned duties and responsibilities as per agreed deadlines or established schedules.
