As Lead Product Manager, you will shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple core products, delivering seamless experiences for banking customers, advisors, and frontline staff. You will lead cross-functional initiatives spanning product development, AI-powered innovation, customer experience, and platform evolution. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and business stakeholders, you will translate complex customer needs into impactful, scalable solutions. You will also champion responsible AI adoption, validate new product opportunities through experimentation, and use data to guide strategic decisions. As a senior member of the Product team, you will mentor colleagues, elevate product management practices, and influence company-wide priorities. This remote contract opportunity offers significant ownership, executive visibility, and the chance to make a measurable impact on business growth. \n Accountabilities Product Strategy and Roadmap: Own the vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for multiple core products, balancing customer needs, business objectives, technical investments, architectural improvements, and operational excellence. AI Product Leadership: Identify high-value opportunities to integrate AI into customer and employee experiences. Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Security, and customers to develop responsible AI-powered solutions, build prototypes, and validate concepts through customer experiments. Cross-Functional Leadership: Align Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design, and other business teams around shared objectives, ensuring clear priorities, effective collaboration, and successful execution. Product Planning and Delivery: Define product requirements, epics, milestones, success metrics, and key results. Maintain alignment between Product and Engineering, oversee roadmap execution, and ensure releases are delivered on schedule and meet quality expectations. Customer Advocacy: Engage regularly with customers and Customer Success teams to understand business needs, identify friction points, validate solutions, and prioritize feature requests. Represent the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Market and Product Research: Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, customer purchasing behavior, and business priorities to identify opportunities, refine product positioning, and inform strategic decisions. Commercial and Financial Performance: Evaluate development costs, product overhead, pricing considerations, revenue opportunities, and profitability to ensure product investments deliver measurable business value. Team Mentorship and Development: Support and mentor Product Owners and developing product managers, share expertise, and strengthen product management capabilities across the organization. Process and Operational Excellence: Improve internal product management tools, workflows, and processes while promoting a value-stream-oriented approach to planning, prioritization, and delivery. Stakeholder Communication: Present product demonstrations, communicate strategy and progress to executives and internal teams, and engage external stakeholders to build alignment and support for product initiatives. Requirements Product Management Experience: At least 8 years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of defining, developing, and launching successful products. Experience in SaaS, banking, financial services, or enterprise technology is an advantage. Strategic Product Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple products simultaneously, develop portfolio strategies, prioritize competing investments, and connect product decisions to broader business objectives. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, integrations, scalable platforms, and software architecture, ideally within a growing SaaS environment. AI Product Knowledge: Practical experience working with technical teams on AI-enabled products, including an understanding of large language models (LLMs), structured data, model limitations, evaluation methods, privacy, security, and usage economics. A data science or machine learning engineering background is not required. Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to understand enterprise customer requirements, identify meaningful problems, and translate customer insights into intuitive, valuable product experiences. Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, manage stakeholder expectations, navigate conflicts, support organizational change, and build consensus across technical and commercial teams. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to present complex ideas, product strategies, and trade-offs to executives, technical teams, and broader audiences. Business and Analytical Acumen: Strong commercial judgment and data-driven decision-making skills, including the ability to assess product performance, development costs, pricing, revenue potential, and profitability. Design Knowledge: Working knowledge of mobile and web design principles, user experience, and customer-centered product development. Execution and Ownership: Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, manage competing priorities, and launch products that meet business objectives. Mentorship and Growth: A growth mindset and demonstrated commitment to professional development, knowledge sharing, coaching, and continuous improvement. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally to customer locations or the company’s head office, potentially up to once per quarter. Location and Employment: Must be based in Canada and authorized to work in Canada. This is a vacant, 12-month contract position.
