The role combines hands-on analytics with leadership, executive communication, and cross-functional partnership. You’ll also help bring AI and machine learning into marketing analytics, from propensity scoring to automated insights and anomaly detection. Working closely with Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Events, Sales Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering, you’ll influence how investment decisions are made. You’ll have significant visibility with senior leaders and help shape the measurement framework behind a rapidly scaling B2B growth organization. This remote position offers an environment where analytical rigor, innovation, and practical business impact are equally valued. Accountabilities Own end-to-end marketing performance measurement, covering campaigns, channels, programs, funnel progression, and contribution through to closed-won revenue. Build, maintain, and continuously improve attribution and funnel models used to evaluate performance and inform marketing budget allocation, while clearly communicating methodology, assumptions, and limitations. Apply AI and machine learning to marketing analytics, including propensity scoring, pipeline forecasting, segmentation, channel optimization, and automated anomaly detection. Develop AI-assisted insight generation that can automatically identify and explain significant performance changes, reducing reliance on manual reporting and analysis. Evaluate, pilot, and scale AI capabilities within the marketing and analytics technology stack, making evidence-based build-versus-buy recommendations. Establish responsible AI practices for marketing analytics by validating outputs, documenting assumptions, monitoring model performance and drift, and partnering with relevant security and legal stakeholders on data governance. Partner with Demand Generation and Events teams to establish targets, forecast pipeline contribution, and measure results against business plans. Design and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting that enable marketing leaders to answer recurring performance questions independently. Act as the analytics owner for the marketing data ecosystem, including Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and downstream data warehouse tables, while partnering with Marketing Operations and Data Engineering on data quality and instrumentation. Prepare executive-level analysis, business reviews, board materials, annual planning insights, budget scenarios, and ROI cases for strategic investments. Raise analytical standards across the marketing organization through mentorship, documentation, best practices, and clear approaches to developing and presenting analysis. Requirements 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or a closely related analytics discipline, including at least 2 years leading analysts, cross-functional initiatives, or both; B2B SaaS experience is strongly preferred. Advanced, hands-on SQL capabilities, with the ability to independently extract, join, validate, and analyze complex datasets. Demonstrated ownership of B2B funnel and attribution measurement, including experience building or significantly improving multi-touch attribution or pipeline models and defending their methodology to senior stakeholders. Practical experience applying machine learning or AI to business problems such as propensity or lead scoring, forecasting, segmentation, or automated insight generation, with strong judgment around when AI is appropriate. Familiarity with ABM platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase, and/or experience with media mix modeling and incrementality testing at scale. Strong knowledge of the modern marketing data stack, including Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms, and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into concise recommendations that senior marketing and commercial leaders can act upon. Strong cross-functional partnership skills and a collaborative approach to working with Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Sales Operations, Finance, Data Engineering, and other stakeholders. Experience with dbt, Python or R, and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is an asset. Experience supporting enterprise or multi-product go-to-market strategies is a plus. Experience working with LLM APIs or AI-assisted analytics tools, including natural-language querying or automated narrative reporting, is an advantage. Benefits Salary: CA$128,000–CA$176,000 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program. Compensation is determined based on factors including role scope, relevant skills, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Remote work: Fully remote position open to candidates across Canada. Flexible hours: Focus on completing meaningful work and achieving outcomes rather than tracking hours. Health coverage: Comprehensive employee health and life insurance benefits. Well-being allowance: $200 USD per month through a personal “Live Your Best Life” benefit. Time off: Statutory vacation plus flexible vacation, as well as dedicated time off for birthdays and volunteering. Professional development: Financial support for programs, seminars, conferences, courses, and other learning opportunities.
