This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialized car wash equipment while delivering high-quality workmanship. You will work across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, electronic, and control systems to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently. The position combines hands-on field work with preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment commissioning. You will support installations from staging and inspection through removal, installation, testing, and ongoing service. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail are essential for identifying malfunctions and completing repairs accurately. The role also involves regular customer interaction, requiring clear communication, professionalism, and a strong service mindset. This is a fully remote opportunity based in Moncton, New Brunswick, with compensation of $34–$42 per hour. \n Accountabilities Unload, stage, and inspect new equipment at job sites, documenting any damage identified during shipment. Install new car wash equipment and safely remove existing equipment as required. Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment based on assignments from Dispatch. Troubleshoot chemical, mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, including PLC controllers and power supplies. Conduct diagnostic analysis, identify malfunctions, and complete repairs or corrective actions efficiently. Maintain tools, test equipment, materials, and work areas in a professional and organized condition. Use power tools and related equipment safely and effectively, including hammer drills and grinders. Communicate technical information clearly and ensure relevant updates, issues, and reports are accurate and concise. Provide professional, responsive, and high-quality customer service during customer interactions. Complete additional duties and service-related tasks as assigned. Requirements: 1–3 years of relevant technical experience, with previous experience working with car wash equipment preferred. Strong mechanical and plumbing skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively. Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and technical documentation. Working knowledge of PLC controllers, low-voltage control circuits, and three-phase power. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately understand information and communicate technical issues. Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow straightforward technical instructions. Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work professionally with customers and maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and use hands for gripping as part of regular work activities. Ability to meet the visual requirements of the role, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment. Ability to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting when required. Benefits: Hourly compensation of $34.00–$42.00. Fully remote position based in Moncton, New Brunswick.
