Competition # 25-T-72 Stanley Humphries Secondary School 0.286 FTE Technology Education Teacher (Grade 8 exploratory rotation) Temporary: Immediately – December 19, 2025, or full return of the incumbent NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date, or it may be extended. Qualifications

• BC Certification
• Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent
• Undergraduate degree with a major in Technology Education
• Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for Technology Education, including the learning outcomes and appropriate resources
• Previous experience teaching the above listed subjects at the secondary level preferred
• Previous experience using 3D printers, Cricut software and laser cutter/engraver preferred
• Experience with a variety of learning management systems
• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,337 to $111,450, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
