Role Description This full-time Commercial Insurance Agent role is an on-site position located in Sarnia, ON. The Commercial Insurance Agent will identify client insurance needs, recommend appropriate commercial coverage solutions, and provide ongoing service to business clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, processing policy changes, renewals, and endorsements, and responding promptly to client inquiries. The role involves prospecting new commercial clients, conducting needs assessments, and supporting risk management discussions to help clients protect their assets. The Commercial Insurance Agent will collaborate with colleagues and underwriting teams, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Qualifications Proven expertise in Insurance and Casualty Insurance to assess commercial risks and recommend suitable coverage. Strong Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally. Proven Sales abilities to prospect, qualify leads, present recommendations, and close commercial insurance opportunities. Relevant provincial insurance licensing (OTL, RIBO) Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly to clients. Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate documentation, policy administration, and time management. Proficiency with office productivity tools and insurance management systems. Commitment to ethical conduct, client-centered service, and continuous learning in the insurance field.
