Casa Mia Montessori is a small boutique daycare located in the growing community of Mahogany, Calgary. Casa Mia offers care for children 2 years- 6 years of age. The educator will be working with a small ratio sized class in a newly built daycare centre.
We are currently seeking 3 full time teachers for our 3 classrooms. (2-2.5, 3-4, and 4-6). Our school environment features an excellent engaging outdoor space, many varieties of educational pieces inside to enrich children with the full Montessori experience, a full time chef who will provide 2 healthy snacks and 1 meal a day, and a very supportive and encouraging work environment.
Required Qualifications
Early Childhood Education certification (Levels 2-3) or degree. Montessori certification or extensive experience and knowledge on the Montessori curriculum. Minimum of 1 year experience working with children in a childcare setting. Current police clearance and vulnerable sector check Current first aid and CPR training.
