We are currently looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations and help drive branch success. The position is strictly Monday through Friday, 7:30-3:30, training will be from 9-5 for approximately the first month of employment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading by example, and takes pride in building an organized, high-performing warehouse team. We?re looking for someone who can keep things moving, solve problems quickly, maintain inventory accuracy, and create accountability while supporting and developing their team.

This is a working supervisor role, meaning successful candidates must be comfortable leading from the floor and stepping in to support warehouse operations when needed.

What You?ll Be Responsible For

Warehouse Operations & Workflow

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment
• Support warehouse workflow and fill operational roles when necessary to meet customer and branch needs
• Ensure products are picked, shipped, received, and delivered accurately and on time
• Action non-conformance and partial shipment items

Inventory Integrity & Organization

• Maintain inventory accuracy using daily and periodic reporting, including:
• Parts with no locations
• Daily backorders
• Negative on-hand inventory
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shipping errors
• Manage bin locations, product moves, shelf labeling, and warehouse organization to maintain a clean and efficient environment

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, motivate, coach, and develop warehouse staff
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
• Coordinate employee scheduling, vacations, and overtime requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, training, and warehouse initiatives

Customer & Branch Support

• Support customer pickup operations when required
• Help maintain the SB Simpson customer experience through speed, urgency, accuracy, and teamwork

Facility & Fleet Oversight

• Organize deliveries and oversee company delivery vehicle maintenance
• Support warehouse facility organization and maintenance

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse supervisory or team leadership experience required
• Experience in industrial distribution, warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or related environments preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills and comfort using reporting systems
• Forklift experience/certification considered an asset
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties as needed

We?re looking for someone who takes ownership, leads from the front, and helps create a warehouse operation that delivers speed, accuracy, and exceptional service every day.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
