Escape Trailer is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and confident managing full-cycle accounting responsibilities while supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.

As a key member of the finance team, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support overall business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review transactional activity including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and journal entries for accuracy and completeness
• Perform and own key balance sheet reconciliations including cash, AR, AP, inventory, and accruals
• Ensure subledger-to-general ledger reconciliations are completed monthly
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments
• Analyze variances against budget and forecast with clear commentary and recommendations
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial data
• Support audits and ensure documentation is audit-ready
• Act as a key support resource to the Assistant Controller and leadership team

Your skills/experience:

• CPA designation completed or in progress preffered
• 5+ years of accounting experience in senior or intermediate accounting role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical., organizational , and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
