Join our team at WG Psychology! We’re a Toronto-based mental health clinic that provides evidence-based, collaborative psychotherapy and assessment for adult clients. We offer psychotherapy from well-supported therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and EFT. We offer both virtual and in-person services.

Job description

We’re looking to hire one or more part-time doctoral-level Clinical Psychologists (autonomous or supervised practice) to expand our multidisciplinary clinical team.

Successful candidates will have experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment with adult clients, in addition to specific experience offering therapy for clients with substance use concerns and/or serious mental illness (e.g., psychosis, bipolar disorders). Competence to provide therapy with couples would be an asset but is not a requirement. Candidates who are looking for part-time (minimum five clinical hours/week) or full-time positions will be considered.

Our in-person services are available at our office on the corner of Jarvis and Carlton in downtown Toronto. Successful candidates will have the option of working in-person, virtually, or some combination of the two.

The start date for this position is flexible and can be discussed during interview.

The ideal candidate will have

A doctoral degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology Registration in good standing with the CPBAO or be working towards this registration. Both autonomous psychologists and those beginning supervised practice will be considered. Extensive experience assessing and providing evidence-based treatment for mental health issues with adults Specific experience and training in providing therapy for clients experiencing substance use concerns and/or serious mental illness (e.g., psychosis, bipolar disorders) Excellent communication skills Access to a private workspace or office complete with a reliable internet connection (if virtual)
