Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Simcoe, ON N3Y 4J9Salary Range: $42.51 - $45.00We are searching for a Licensed Millwright who is looking to join a growing and dynamic team. Job Duties and Responsibilities Install, maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic valves, actuators, control systems and PLCs Install, maintain and trouble shoot hydraulic systems including valves, pumps, filter/strainers, flow control, proportional valves, actuators. Receive daily work orders and organize work in order to complete in an expeditious manner, including determining the necessary materials and equipment. Demonstrate your commitment to safety in the workplace and maintain a clean work area at all times. Anticipate issues before they occur and have a solution- oriented approach to solve issues. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Understand and interpret schematic drawings and symbols, as well as manufacturers manuals and specifications and logic diagrams for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Repair or replace defective parts; lubricate, inspect, clean machine parts as per PM procedures. Use of hand and power tools to expedite repairs, installation and maintenance of equipment. Use and set up of shop power machinery, lathes, milling machines, saws, drills, grinders. Understanding of bearing selection, inspections, fitting and replacements. Selection of proper lifting or hoisting equipment Install belts, chains, pulleys, keys, splines, shafting speed reducers, brakes, couplings, clutches and drive systems, material handling devices, inspecting, aligning and maintaining Maintain compressors, dryers, filters, coolers, separators, receivers and water pumps. Layout and fabrication of various materials, including Mig or Tig arc weld. Have a basic understanding of OHSA regulations on machine safety devices and guarding. Understand and practice safe working procedures. Use personal protective equipment with lockout or isolation procedures as required. Understand the environmental aspects and impacts of maintenance duties and work towards reducing them. Use fall arrest and safe work practices at elevated heights. Ability to communicate openly and clearly with fellow team members, read, write, understand specific work instructions and procedures. Perform other maintenance duties as assigned to meet departmental responsibilities. Ability to work a rotating shift schedule and overtime as required.
