About the role
Company: ClaimsPro LP - Shared Services Finance Administrative Assistant - Full-time, In-office - (Edmonton, AB Canada) Reporting to the AR/AP Manager, you will work closely with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, as well as other finance team members. You will be responsible for delivering effective, timely, and efficient services to internal and external clients, in accordance with the Accounting Department’s policies and procedures. We have an existing opportunity to add a Finance Administrative Assistant to our team! This position will be in-office out of our Edmonton location. The successful candidate will maintain strong working relationships with internal clients and external customer representatives. Competencies Required to Succeed Strong customer service orientation Effective written and verbal communication skills Action-oriented with a proactive approach to work Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines and high-volume workflows Strong Excel skills Responsibilities Provide in-office administrative and operational support as required Incoming mail: Sort and organize items for internal processing; complete scanning and batching activities; maintain saved documentation; and record required details in tracking logs using approved review tools Outgoing mail: Facilitate outgoing documentation as needed, including coordinating and preparing courier packages Support regular banking-related activities, including remote cheque scanning and occasional in-person deposits Review submitted documentation containing financial details to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policy and audit requirements. Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner, documenting actions and resolutions for audit and record-keeping purposes Maintain accurate electronic filing systems and documentation standards Assist with audit requests by gathering and providing required documentation within established timelines Occasionally collect office mail from the designated mail depot Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned Perform other administrative and operational duties as required Qualifications & Experience Completion of high school education Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a general administrative or office support role; related experience in a corporate or finance environment is an asset.
