Job Description
Design and produce high-quality visual assets, including illustrations, logos, layouts, photography treatments, and visual content for websites, publications, marketing materials, and digital platforms. Execute a wide range of graphic design tasks such as infographics, layout design, digital artwork, print-ready materials, and basic scanning and image processing. Develop creative concepts and visual solutions for marketing, advertising, and institutional campaigns in alignment with brand objectives. Translate design briefs and functional requirements into effective, visually compelling designs. Conceptualize and develop visuals that adhere to AAU’s brand identity and visual guidelines. Prepare initial design concepts, mockups, and rough drafts, and present ideas clearly to stakeholders. Select appropriate color palettes, typography, and layouts to ensure visual consistency and clarity. Collaborate closely with the Public Relations team and relevant internal departments to deliver final design outputs. Adapt designs to multiple formats, sizes, and platforms, including print, digital, and social media channels. Prepare and finalize artwork for professional printing, ensuring technical accuracy and quality standards. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet established deadlines. Revise and refine designs based on feedback while maintaining creative integrity and brand consistency. Ensure all final graphics and layouts are visually engaging, professional, and fully aligned with institutional branding. Organize, maintain, and archive design files systematically for efficient access and reuse. Stay updated with design trends, tools, and best practices relevant to institutional and digital communication. Familiarity with AI-powered design tools as a supportive element in idea generation, concept development, and workflow optimization.

- Design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere & After Effects). Strong computer proficiency and ability to work efficiently across digital platforms. Solid understanding of preparing artwork for both digital use and professional printing. Familiarity with AI-powered design tools used to support creative processes and enhance productivity. Arabic proficiency is required; professional working knowledge of English is preferred. A proven and relevant portfolio demonstrating creative, digital, and institutional design work is mandatory.
