Role Description The Restoration Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Nepean, ON. This position oversees restoration projects from start to finish, coordinating crews, assigning tasks, and monitoring work quality and safety on-site. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising field staff, reading and interpreting plans, organizing materials and equipment, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within specifications. The Restoration Foreman also operates or oversees heavy equipment as needed, liaises with clients and project managers, and maintains clear documentation of work completed, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken. The role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to building codes and company standards, and effective communication with all stakeholders. Qualifications

Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring. Experience working with heavy equipment and tools commonly used in restoration and construction. Effective communication skills for coordinating crews, interacting with clients, and reporting to management. Practical carpentry skills and hands-on experience with structural repairs and restoration work. Maintenance knowledge, including routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs. Proven experience in construction, restoration, or related fields, preferably in a foreperson or lead role. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and safety guidelines. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and quality standards. Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices.
