You'll help connect strategy, people, opportunities, and communications across our group of companies while ensuring our marketing platforms, business development initiatives, and project pursuits are professional, engaging, and effective. This is more than a coordination role. You'll be the link between business development, marketing, operations, and executive leadership, ensuring our opportunities, accomplishments, and capabilities are effectively communicated both internally and externally. From maintaining our LinkedIn presence and website to supporting major project pursuits and executive reporting, you'll help position Carlson Construction Group for continued growth and success. When we win a major project, strengthen an important client relationship, launch a successful marketing campaign, or showcase a significant milestone, you'll know you played a meaningful role in making it happen.
What You'll Be Doing
Powering Group Strategy Support the execution of Carlson Construction Group's business development and growth strategy Maintain business development pipelines, tracking tools, databases, and CRM systems with accurate information Prepare sales, marketing, and business development reports for executive leadership and advisory board meetings Develop and maintain BD processes, templates, presentations, and documentation across the group Assist with market research, competitor analysis, and identifying new business opportunities Driving Marketing & Brand Excellence Manage and maintain Carlson Construction Group's LinkedIn presence, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics Coordinate the development and maintenance of project profiles, project sheets, and company capability statements Support the creation and updating of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, advertisements, event materials, and promotional content Assist with managing and updating the company website, ensuring content remains current, accurate, and aligned with company branding Support administration and ongoing development of the company intranet, helping keep employees informed and engaged Coordinate photography, project updates, success stories, and marketing content from business units Ensure brand consistency across all business units and marketing channels Driving Group-Level Coordination Track target clients, projects, strategic partnerships, and new business opportunities alongside the Business Development Manager Support integrated project delivery (IPD) and joint venture pursuits Assist in coordinating and tracking Indigenous and First Nations engagement initiatives and relationship-building activities Coordinate conference, tradeshow, networking event, and sponsorship logistics, including registrations, materials, and follow-ups Create impactful presentations, proposals, pursuit materials, and submission packages Supporting Business Units on the Ground Coordinate Business Development & Estimating (BD&E) meetings with General Managers and business unit leaders Prepare agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and action item tracking Support business units in opportunity tracking and pursuit planning Collaborate with estimating teams to track opportunities from proposal through project award Coordinate lessons learned sessions and client feedback initiatives Monitor goals, action items, and key deliverables across business units Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, sales coordination, or a related role Experience managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn Experience creating marketing materials and business presentations Construction, engineering, industrial, or professional services experience is considered an asset Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams Experience with CRM systems, website content management systems (CMS), and marketing platforms is an asset Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per annum
The actual salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, years of experience, qualifications, internal equity, and Carlson Construction Group's compensation policy.
