This position is responsible for the coordination of telephone referrals, verification of criteria and appropriates funding in setting up clients for home oxygen therapy and related healthcare services. Receive and process client walk-in or phone orders, inquiries, and/or issues covering items or products ordered along with showroom sales and inquiries from walk-in clients.
What you will enjoy doing*
- We’d want you to join our regular sleep lab meetings so you stay aligned with the team and what’s happening day to day.
- You’ll be a key point of contact—answering questions from both physicians and patients, and helping book sleep study appointments.
- Part of the role is making sure every requisition comes in properly and gets reviewed by our medical director before moving forward.
- Keeping patient files organized and complete is really important, since accuracy is critical in this environment.
- You’d also be confirming appointments with patients about two days in advance to minimize any last-minute issues.
- If there are cancellations or no-shows, you’ll need to proactively notify the referring physicians.
- We rely on good documentation, so you’ll be recording all phone interactions with both patients and physicians in the patient chart.
- And of course, there are some general office tasks as well—things like filing, mailing, and ordering supplies to keep everything running smoothly.
What makes you great*
- From an education standpoint, we’re looking for someone with at least a high school diploma or equivalent—pretty straightforward there.
- Ideally, you bring around two years of customer service experience, since you’ll be interacting with patients and physicians regularly.
- If you’ve had any retail or sales experience, that’s definitely a plus, as it helps with communication and relationship-building.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are really important in this role, along with being highly organized in how you manage your work.
- You’ll also need to be comfortable using computers, as a lot of the work involves managing records and systems.
- Safety is a big priority for us, so we’re looking for someone who takes that seriously in everything they do.
- A big part of the role is building and maintaining relationships—with both existing and new clients—while staying aware of opportunities to support growth in our homecare services.
- And finally, it can get busy at times, so being able to multitask and stay calm under pressure will really set you up for success.

This is a replacement position with an annual salary range of $57,255 – $58,200.
