About My Little Eater My Little Eater is a Canada-based pediatric feeding education company on a mission to empower parents with confidence to raise healthy eaters, while making mealtimes less stressful and more joyful for the whole family. Through our online courses, meal plans, workshops, and 1:1 counseling, we provide evidence-based, practical guidance to families for every stage of feeding, from first bites with solids to toddlerhood and preschool years. We’re a small but passionate team of dietitians and our team is growing, so we’re looking for a like-minded Dietitian to join us! Position Summary We’re looking for a confident, knowledgeable, and collaborative Registered Dietitian to join our team in a casual position! In this role, you’ll provide personalized support to parents through virtual consultations and collaborate with our team to continue making feeding easier and less stressful for families everywhere. If you love working with parents and young children, are passionate about research, and want to make a meaningful impact on family mealtimes, we’d love to meet you. Tasks Provide 1:1 virtual consultations with families on topics like starting solids, picky eating, weight and growth concerns, aversions, allergies, balanced family meals, and more. Support clients with step-by-step plans and practical strategies for creating positive mealtime environments. Stay up to date with the latest pediatric feeding research and best practices. What We’re Looking For Registered Dietitian (RD) in good standing with your provincial regulatory body. Strong interest and passion for pediatrics and family feeding. An understanding of My Little Eater’s content and feeding methods. Excellent communication and counselling skills: You enjoy meeting parents where they are and empowering them. Comfortable working virtually and independently, but excited to collaborate with a small team. Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills required. Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills required. An understanding of and commitment to family-centered care required. Experience in pediatric nutritional counselling is an asset. If you don’t have counselling experience working in pediatrics or an understanding of My Little Eater’s methods, you are willing and eager to train with our team of dietitians on a volunteer basis to become comfortable and confident in doing so, at which point you will move into a counselling role. Work Arrangement Type: Casual (with potential for growth). Location: Remote, based in Canada. Schedule: Flexible to meet the needs of clients and depending on tasks.
