As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look and feel their best while delivering top-notch customer service to pet owners. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or client preferences.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming options and aftercare.
• Handle pets safely and compassionately during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
• Manage appointment schedules and maintain accurate records of services provided for each pet.
• Assist in heavy lifting of larger pets as needed during grooming sessions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet grooming is required
• Customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets.
• Knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming techniques, and pet care practices is a plus.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
