Our client is seeking a Social Media Specialist to play an important role in bringing its brand to life across digital, print, and member- and industry-facing communications. This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented communicator who can develop engaging, professional, and brand-aligned content that strengthens awareness, supports member engagement, and reinforces the organization's position as a trusted resource for its members and industry partners.
Working closely with and supporting the Communications Manager, the Social Media Specialist creates social media campaigns, supports webinar promotion and delivery, develops member and vendor communications and newsletters, and designs print and digital advertisements for industry publications. The successful candidate will help ensure all communications are polished, consistent, visually engaging, and aligned with the organization's professional brand.

About You
The role requires strong attention to detail, an understanding of brand consistency, and the ability to manage multiple communication priorities in a service-focused environment.
As part of a small, collaborative team, this role may also include operational support, customer service, general administrative duties, and supporting the organization's billing process as needed.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, service-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable balancing creative communications work with day-to-day responsibilities that support members, vendors, internal processes, and the overall smooth operation of the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2–5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or a similar content-focused role Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media content and campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and professional content for a variety of audiences Experience using social media analytics tools to measure campaign performance and optimize content Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with email marketing platforms and content management systems Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong understanding of branding and the importance of maintaining a consistent voice and visual identity across all communications Experience supporting webinars, events, email marketing campaigns, or member/customer communications is considered an asset Experience working in healthcare, medical, vision care, association, non-profit, or other professional services environments is strongly preferred Experience developing communications for member-based organizations or regulated industries, where professionalism, accuracy, and stakeholder engagement are critical, is considered an asset Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable, with a service-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to a variety of team initiatives
Compensation
$60,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience Two weeks of paid vacation Annual performance and salary reviews Annual bonus opportunity Hybrid work arrangement Company-provided laptop and all required software
