About the role:
We are looking for a highly organized, technically minded Inside Sales Specialist to support our sales team. As part of the Sales Operations team, this role will serve as the critical bridge between our sales, solutions, and operations team. In this role, you will champion the operational success of our existing geophysical accounts globally ensuring smooth renewals and project delivery.
You will own our frontline sales support ticketing ecosystem (Jira), resolving standard technical inquiries directly while strategically routing complex requests to our wider operations and solutions teams. Additionally, you will become an expert on our pricing, hardware, and solution architecture frameworks, and contribute to high-impact Request for Proposals.
Responsibilities:

Act as the primary owner of the sales support Jira service desk, triaging, tracking, and managing internal and external technical sales requests, such as solution building and modelling.

Answer standard technical inquiries regarding our solutions, hardware configurations, and data delivery workflows.

Identify and escalate complex technical, operational, or deployment issues to the wider Operations and Solutions engineering teams, acting as the client's internal advocate.

Act as a trusted advisor to sales managers to support conversations with prospective buyers, understanding their unique technical pain points and accurately map our products to their specs.

Partner closely with client-side geophysical teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and hardware deployments.

Partner with Sales and Operations on larger enterprise accounts, handle the initial groundwork, and coordinate smooth hand-offs for on-site visits.

Deeply master our product catalog, hardware specifications, and solution architectures to build internal documentation and standardize how we scope projects.

Develop a deep understanding of our pricing models to help standardize and optimize pricing worksheets, reducing friction in the sales cycle and improving margins.

Synthesize frontline feedback to recommend hardware or solution improvements to the Solutions Engineer or Product Management, acting as the voice of the customer.

Complete initial email outreach to incoming technical leads.

Support Sales Managers globally to manage the pipeline for renewals and hardware add-ons using our CRM (SAP Sales Cloud).

Collaborate with account executives and technical leads to draft, format, and review technical responses for RFPs and RFIs.

Generate accurate quotes, Statements of Work (SOWs), and equipment configurations for account renewals or expansions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience (Geosciences, engineering or related technology background preferred).

At least 3 years of previous inside sales experience, preferably in a related field such as the geosciences, engineering, scientific instrumentation, or related technologies.

Previous experience supporting field Sales Managers.

Experience working with a CRM platform and ticketing systems (Jira).

Salary Information:
The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000, plus a corporate discretionary bonus. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s skills, competencies, and experience for the position.
