About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a talented Junior Interior Designer to join our close-knit team — someone who brings technical precision, a warm and generous spirit, and a genuine love of design to everything they do. ROLE PURPOSE This is a singular and important role within our studio. As the sole junior designer on the team, you are the design and technical support that our intermediate and senior designers rely on — the person whose precision, reliability, and dedication keeps projects moving forward with confidence. This is role is for someone who finds deep satisfaction in service, in craft, and in being the steady, skilled presence that makes exceptional work possible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide dedicated technical and project support to intermediate and senior designers across all phases of work. Produce precise AutoCAD drawings and compelling SketchUp models and renderings. Manage samples and the sample library — keeping materials organized, current, and beautifully presented. Source and coordinate product procurement; assist with deliveries and pick-ups as needed. Source fabrics and furnishings as required by the furnishings team Attend all installations, ensuring the vision is realized on site with care and attention to detail. Support photoshoots — setting up, styling, and ensuring every space is camera-ready. Adapt fluidly to the natural rhythms of install schedules, with flexibility around hours during key project milestones.
WHAT YOU BRING 2–3 years of professional residential interior design experience. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp — these will be essential tools in your daily practice. A diploma or degree in Interior Design. Fluency with AI tools and a curiosity for how emerging technology can elevate design thinking and studio workflow. An exceptional eye for detail — nothing escapes your notice, and nothing leaves your hands unless it is right. A natural gift for organization: you manage complexity with calm, keep systems tight, and bring order to the moving parts of a busy studio. Resourcefulness and foresight — you read a situation, anticipate what is needed before it is asked, and act with quiet confidence. An open, honest communication style; you are warm in your manner, precise in your words, and thoughtful in how you engage with colleagues and clients alike. A service-oriented mindset — you understand that supporting others well is its own form of excellence, and you take genuine pride in it. A humble, collaborative spirit and an uncompromising love of design.
