Position Overview
The Repair and Restoration Coordinator plays a key leadership role within the branch. Reporting to the Project Manager, the primary responsibility of the Repair and Restoration Coordinator is to ensure the efficient and timely production of services that meet both budgetary requirements and industry standards. The Repair and Restoration Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily operations, ensuring that staffing needs are met, and processes are streamlined to maximize operational effectiveness. 2.Key Responsibilities: ●Establish and implement departmental procedures to enhance production efficiency and supportsafety policies; ●Maintain and control the production schedule, crew assignments, and recruitment and staffinglevels to meet business demands; ●Maintain time and attendance, vacation approvals, and new staff recruitment in collaboration withmanagement; ●Analyze production outcomes, quality control, and project budgets to ensure optimal performance; ●Support the maintenance and tracking of company equipment, vehicles, and tools, including fleetmanagement and repair approvals; ●Conduct job site visits to ensure quality service, budget compliance, and adherence to safetystandards; ●Support Project Managers on projects and large emergency losses, coordinating equipment,staffing, and health and safety measures; ●Ensure effective collaboration across departments to facilitate timely project completion; ●Organize and schedule employee orientation and training in conjunction with Health and Safetyrequirements; ●Participate in the on-call rotation and coordinate after-hours emergency crews when needed; ●Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns affecting project completion to the keystakeholders; ●Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by conducting hazard assessments, maintainingorganized and hazard-free job sites, and ensuring proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools,equipment, and PPE. Promptly report and document unsafe conditions or incidents, activelyparticipate in safety training and inspections, and support organizational safety initiatives asdirected by the Health and Safety Department; ●Foster customer satisfaction by maintaining professionalism, building strong relationships, andensuring prompt, accurate communication with clients, subcontractors, insurance adjustors andother relevant stakeholders; and ●Any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Repair and Restoration Coordinator Department: Operations Division: All Divisions Reports to: Operations Manager 3. Qualifications: i. Required: ● Highschool Diploma/GED; ● 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role; ● Ability to work independently or on a team as required; ● Attention to detail and a keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information; and ● Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR’s Auto Policy. ii. Preferred: ● Post-secondary courses in business, project or construction management; ● 4+ years of experience within the construction, restoration or insurance industry; ● IICRC certification in either Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke or Mold Remediation (AMRT); ● Experience and knowledge of provincial health and safety standards and WCB compliance; ● Knowledge of business and project management principles and practices; ● Proficiency in Xactimate, Xactanalysis, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; ● Understanding of customer service principles and practices; ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism; and ● Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a diversified workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. iii. Working Conditions: ● Due to the nature of our business, this position will work normal business hours but may be required to work in the evenings, on-call, or outside normal working hours; ● Perform tasks requiring mobility in tight or confined spaces, sustained physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling), and working at heights over 5 feet as needed; ● Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and ● Periodic travel may be required.
