Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your supplier quality and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of supplier-delivered parts, contributing directly to the success of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (procurement, engineering, project management, and quality assurance), manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with quality standards. You’ll also oversee the development of supplier parts in line with project milestones and tackle challenges to ensure project success. You’ll specifically take care of monitoring First Article Inspections (FAIs) and ensuring supplier quality activities align with project needs, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration. We’ll look to you for:
Participating in the creation and updates of the Supplier Part List (SPL) throughout the project lifecycle
Ensuring supplier quality activities are allocated and delivered by Supplier Product Quality Development (SPQD) teams
Driving the deployment and application of quality action plans agreed during business awards
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of supplier quality activities and highlighting any challenges
Collaborating with project core teams to address and escalate risks related to supplier quality
Contributing to customer interface activities, including FAI planning and issue resolution
Supporting non-conformity management and ensuring relevant actions are implemented
Preparing KPIs and customer reviews for purchased parts
All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or an equivalent field
Familiarity with supplier qualification standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, IRIS, local standards)
Ability to read and comprehend supplier contracts
Financial literacy to manage budgets and supplier invoices
Proficiency in computer applications for preparing KPIs and presentations
Fluency in English
Experience managing supplier relationships and working within a manufacturing or quality role (minimum of 5 years)
Knowledge of quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, control plans, QRQC, 8D, Quality Wall)
Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
Proactive and strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and train others
Ability to work in a regional organization and manage tasks remotely
Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from monotonous daily routines
Work with advanced quality standards for rail industry suppliers

Contribute to innovative and impactful projects
