About the role
Summary
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of bookkeeping for the office. You will work independently, handling a variety of duties, including answering the phone and accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Fully cycle bookkeeping
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable postings in accounting software.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Job costings
- Financial Reporting
- HST, WSIB, and source deduction remittances
- Payroll processing
- Filing
- Year end preparation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, experience with Sage is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Payroll experience
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to take on responsibilities without direct supervision
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
