Audio Visual & Livestream Technician
Full-Time | Mississauga, ON

Livecast Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Audio Visual & Livestream Technician to join our growing production team. We produce corporate, government, association, and hybrid events across Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AV experience who wants to build their skills in live event production, livestreaming, and video production.
Responsibilities
Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of professional AV equipment for live, hybrid, and virtual events. Set up and operate audio systems, wireless microphones, speakers, and presentation equipment. Assist with livestream productions using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, vMix, and other streaming platforms. Operate cameras, presentation systems, projectors, confidence monitors, and displays. Load, unload, transport, and maintain company equipment. Review event requirements with clients, venues, and the production team. Assist with warehouse preparation, equipment maintenance, and inventory. Provide professional onsite technical support during events. Occasionally assist with video editing, livestream preparation, and other production tasks when working from the office or remotely.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of paid experience in professional AV or live event production. Experience with audio systems and wireless microphones. Basic knowledge of livestreaming platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Experience with vMix is an asset, but training will be provided. Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence. Comfortable driving the company cargo van to and from event locations. Must reside in the GTA, Peel Region, or surrounding area. Ability to lift and move production equipment. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.

French language skills are considered an asset.
Compensation
$25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience. Typical schedule ranges from 30–50 hours per week, depending on event schedules.
