About the role
Our client is a leading Canadian based supplier of multi-temperature storage and distribution services supporting the food, retail and CPG industry. They are looking to add a Director, Transportation Sales to their team. Reporting to the President, the Director, Transportation Sales is an individual contributor responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic relationship building, market expansion, and innovative sales strategies. Leveraging deep expertise in the transportation and supply chain industry, this role focuses on developing new business opportunities, strengthening key partnerships, and positioning the organization for long-term success in existing and emerging markets.
Ideal candidates will have significant sales experience in the trucking, transportation and logistics industry coupled with strong planning skills and well developed negotiation skills. In addition, the right person will have excellent people and communication skills along with solid organizational and problem solving skills.
