Your work will include: Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in a field environment Interface with customers, products and sales support Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds Component replacements Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication Specific Skills & Experience Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/ (HET) Certification Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr) 5+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience recommended Experience with 793, 789 and 785 haul trucks, D10 dozers, 395 HEX, 6015 shovels and 224/18/16 Motor Graders Computer literacy along with Finning S-level courses Previous repair experience on the Caterpillar mining and general line product lines would be considered an asset Important Information: This is a site position, located at Conuma Resources on a 14 x 14 continuous shift rotation, with a marshalling point of Chetwynd/Tumbler Ridge 10% Regional Wage Adjustment Applicable for Employees Living in Area (Travel Allowance and Company Accommodation not applicable) A condition of employment includes the ability to obtain Customer Site Access (Drug & Alcohol screening, and may include Fitness testing) Union Membership: This is a unionized position.
