This is your opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your decisions directly impact production performance and the success of a busy manufacturing facility. We're looking for a strategic and confident Production Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex challenges, collaborating with leadership, and keeping production running at full speed.
From balancing demand, capacity, materials, and inventory to navigating different bottlenecks, you'll be at the center of the operation. Working closely with Plant Leadership and the Master Scheduler, you'll help drive decisions, communicate priorities and production updates, solve problems before they impact operations, and play a critical role in keeping the business moving forward.

- Fast-paced and engaging day-to-day responsibilities What you'll be doing:
- Build and manage production timelines to support operational requirements and customer demand
- Coordinate production priorities based on inventory, order volume, and available resources
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and minimize disruptions
- Partner with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required
- Review inventory levels and identify potential shortages or bottlenecks
- Communicate scheduling updates and operational changes with internal departments
- Generate reports related to production performance, delivery timelines, and operational metrics
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and efficiency
- Assist leadership with planning analysis and operational reporting What we're looking for:
- 5 or more years of experience in a production planning role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and inventory processes
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems (JDE Edwards is an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Post-secondary education in operations, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is preferred
