About the role
Are you a Warehouse Technician who enjoys working in a warehouse that dedicated
to heavy equipment? Are you someone who gets satisfaction from organization, accuracy and efficiency? Reporting to the Parts Manager, our Warehouse Technicians pick, ship, receive, and maintain inventory, warehouse and yard to provide accurate and timely service to internal and external customers. This position is based in Wabush, NL.
Location: Wabush, NL
Rate: $31.94/hour + additional premiums Shift: 5x2
Your Role
- Pick, ship, receive, and maintain inventory to ensure accurate and timely service to internal and external customers.
- Complete labourer and yard duties to keep the branch and yard organized.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including picking parts orders.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Conduct daily cycle counting and maintain warehouse inventory accuracy.
What You Bring
- Strong awareness and commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Previous industry-related work experience.
- Forklift, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Fire Extinguisher, TDG, First Aid, and Hoisting and Rigging training are assets.
- Strong customer service skills and working knowledge of computers.
This position is classified as an Individual Contributor role in SMS Equipment’s
