Expectations
Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a welcoming, professional, and discreet presence. Ensure all assigned guest areas meet Scandinave Spa Whistler's cleanliness and presentation standards. Maintain a calm, organized, and efficient work environment. Support the Spa Experience Team with operational and housekeeping duties. Complete all assigned daily tasks and additional duties as directed by the Team Lead or Supervisor/Manager. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Job Type: Part Time – Seasonal
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday - 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM Hourly Rate: $22.01 Benefits: Complimentary thermal baths membership for yourself Massage Discounts of 35% Food and beverage discounts for onsite café.

Tasks & Responsibilities: Laundry & Back of House Sort, organize, and transport used linens to the laundry area. Maintain an organized and clean back-of-house laundry space. Replace full laundry carts with empty carts throughout the shift. Assist with maintaining adequate linen inventory for daily operations.
Women's Locker Rooms & Shower Facilities
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of shower stalls and surrounding areas. Squeegee shower walls and floors as required to remove excess water. Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, tissues, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed. Clean and disinfect countertops, faucets, mirrors, sinks, and other high-touch surfaces. Empty garbage and sanitary bins and replace liners as required. Remove hair and debris from shower walls and drains using approved equipment. Mop and disinfect floors while following wet floor safety procedures. Ensure shower curtains and guest areas are left neat and presentable.
Locker Room Maintenance
Keep locker rooms clean, organized, and free from litter. Collect and transport soiled linens to the laundry area. Close and reset vacant lockers. Turn off and neatly organize hair dryers, straighteners, and other guest amenities. Collect, document, and submit lost and found items according to company procedures. Maintain the cleanliness of countertops, mirrors, sinks, and surrounding guest areas. Perform routine floor cleaning and disinfecting throughout the shift.
Guest Amenities & Public Areas
Replenish tea, water, cups, and related guest amenities throughout the spa. Maintain cleanliness and stock levels within the Massage Pavilion. Clean and restock massage pavilion washrooms as required. Monitor guest areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
General Responsibilities
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all assigned areas. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the Team Lead promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safe chemical handling practices. Assist with additional operational duties as assigned to support the Spa Experience Team. Contribute positively to a collaborative and respectful team environment.
Prerequisites
Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, spa, hotel, or cleaning services is considered an asset. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards. Ability to work independently while managing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods. Ability to safely lift and move laundry carts, supplies, and equipment as required. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, reaching, kneeling, and cleaning. Communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and respect while working in guest areas. Reliable, flexible, and adaptable with a positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
